Spotted

Being downtown always seems to change my mood for the best, I love the hustle, and bustle of the city, it allows me to escape for a brief moment. I am probably one of the only people who feels this way about city life, but so be it. This casual look was perfect to take to the streets of downtown, while keeping that uptown touch of class, and elegance.
This Polka Dot patterned shirt is a simple way to make any outfit playful and fun. I love a statement shirt, and it was just what this outfit needed to take it to the next level on the dapper scale. I paired the spotted shirt with a simple taupe chino so it can be worn from daytime into the night effortlessly. To finish off this look I choose a simple cognac tasseled loafer to give it that final touch of class along with golden acessories  for the cherry on top.

Brighter Whites & Lighter Blues

I have always loved a new fresh & clean white shirt, it speaks for itself, and can be just as powerful as a statement shirt.
For me, the white shirt is a classic and can be dressed up or down effortlessly and looks great with nearly anything! I personally love to wear my white shirts with light blue denim and gold accessories the gold always pops beautifully against the crispness of the white.
This Banana Republic shirt was nothing short of perfection, it is one of the most comfortable shirts I own (t-shirts included) it is soft as a blanket with a tailored fit and incredible structure. I was blown away by how I managed to not break a sweat walking the streets of Philadelphia as my Starbucks cup was becoming increasingly more watery due to the heat.
To give this classic look some modern dimension I incorporated my recent obsession,
distressed denim to give the look a more casual approach. Light wash denim has been a summer staple for me and is more casual than darker tones and compliments bright tones wonderfully.
The white shirt and distressed denim still needed a cherry on top to complete the look and give it
that dapper boost and these blue loafers was just what it needed!
These tasseled loafers where a total impulse buy and I have zero regrets. They were so light and made walking through the city a breeze. I kept finding myself looking down at them and smiling because these shoes are so unique and I don't own anything like them!
Wearing this look was a definitely a Summer Favorite
and I will definitely be heading to Banana Republic to snag more of these shirts,
because one is never enough!

Cool For The Summer

Tis' the season for deep blues, and bright whites, I have owned many of white denim, but none have seemed to keep me content for more than a wear or two. Finally, I have found a pair that fits perfectly, and looks incredible.  I decided the best way to debut my new summer denim was to give it a tour and capture the beauty of Philadelphia. From grabbing coffee, to shopping these denim pieces kept me feeling confident, and looking cool.
I love the frayed raw edges of this denim shirt, it makes the look just a little more casual for the Summer which is perfect because there is no season more casual than Summer in my opinion. I have also been living for tinted mirror shades lately, they are an easy way to boost a basic look up a few notches without looking like you are trying to hard. My favorite part of this outfit, is indeed the white denim jeans they were so lightweight, and stretchy I often had to look down an make sure I was wearing jeans and not my running tights! The subtle knee rips are definitely a nice casual touch, destroyed denim has been a favorite of mine, so this selection was a no brainer for me. To put the cherry on top of this look, I paired it with my crisp white Stan Smiths, these have been my go-to shoes because they are casual, yet classic enough to dress up if needed.

as much as I am? Let me know in the comments!

Spring X Banana Republic

Saying goodbye to winter has been bittersweet for me, I always love to bundle up and enjoy the white blanket of snow that has covered everything, but all seasons come and go, and I embrace them all with open arms! Spring has finally sprung and I decided to take advantage of the warm sunny day and venture out into the park to take in the beautiful scenery and cool fresh air here is what I wore. I am excited to finally wear some light linens and casual chinos for an easy cool springtime look. Banana Republic has got some pretty awesome menswear for Spring, I love the light orange Linen shirt paired with the cool green chinos, this look is perfectly casual yet could still be worn to work or on a date. The relaxed fit of the chino pants made this look very polished and clean, which I loved because it is a fit I wouldn't normally gravitate toward, but I was pleasantly surprised once I seen how perfectly these chinos fit.  The light orange Linen shirt was a perfect combination for the chino pants, as the cool green really helped bring out the orange which I really loved as it completed the look and complimented the accessories very well and made it a dapper casual look. I love how comfortable this entire look is, the Linen really keeps you cool and lets you feel the warm spring breeze along without having to sacrifice function for fashion, which we all know too well! I took a stroll through the park wearing this look, and I was so comfortable I felt as though I was wearing my workout gear, which is a something a lot of men out there would love. Spring is all about Cool lights and bright colors, and this look is no exception. I am ready to take on this season and embrace all the beauty that comes with it!

Suited Stroll

I love a versatile suit that can be broken down into separates, This suit has been great for dressing up for events, and down for a more casual look. Both of these pieces are of a suit set and I combined them to create a more casual everyday look without feeling like you're going overkill. The jacket is a perfect fit right off the rack, which is difficult to find these days. The Chambray pants gave this look some texture and depth which makes it excellent to wear sans jacket. I especially like how the loafers finish it off giving it that extra dapper touch that it needs to make it a polished dandy look!

Falling For Fall

There is nothing like Fall, I am fortunate to be living on the East Coast where I get to experience all the different temperatures, see flowers bloom, and leaves fall. There is nothing like watching seasons come and go and I get to appreciate the beauty of what Mother Nature Has to offer. Fall happens to be a favorite because of the colorful leaves and crisp air, it only makes sense to layer up. For this perfect Fall day, I decided to play with textures, patterns, and hues to create a both warm and effortless look that can be worn for years to come! I love a good fisherman sweater and this was a necessary purchase since it can be worn so many different ways! I also love this utility jacket,
it is both warm and just lightweight enough to wear on cool days like today without it being
unbearable. To add to my layering obsession (no I am seriously obsessed with layering) I added
a cool flannel shirt to brighten up the look which was needed! Speaking of obsessions,
Chelsea boots are also becoming a wardrobe staple for me I simply love the clean
lines and how they compliment the outfit.

What do you guys think of this look, is layering something
you are equally obsessed with? Let me know in the comments!
